Roman Catholic Diocese of Bossangoa

The diocese Bossangoa (Latin Dioecesis Bossangoensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bossangoa in the Central African Republic.

History

Pope John XXIII. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Bangassou with the Apostolic Constitution Christo Qui iubente on 9 February 1959 cession of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Bangui Berbérati was assumed as suffragan.

With the Apostolic Constitution Gaudet sancta it was raised on 16 January 1964 Diocese.
