Roman Catholic Diocese of Brentwood

The Diocese of Brentwood (Latin: Dioecesis Brentvoodensis ) is a facility located in the United Kingdom, Roman Catholic diocese based in Brentwood.

History

Pope Benedict XV. founded the diocese on July 20, 1917 with the Apostolic Constitution Universalis Ecclesiae of cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Westminster, it was also a suffragan.

Territory

The Diocese of Brentwood includes the county of Essex, the unitary authorities Southend -on-Sea and Thurrock and the London boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.
