The diocese of Chimoio (Latin: Dioecesis Cimoianus ) is a location in Mozambique Roman Catholic diocese based in Chimoio.

History

The diocese of Chimoio was vehement by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quod '' erected on 19 November 1990 from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Beira and this is a suffragan. First bishop was Francisco João Silota MAFR.
