The Diocese of Churchill - Baie d' Hudson (Latin: Dioecesis Churchill politanus sine de Hudson ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic diocese based in Churchill.

History

The Diocese of Churchill - Baie d' Hudson was born on July 11, 1925 by Pope Pius XI. with the Apostolic Constitution Divini verbi of annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Keewatin built as Apostolic Prefecture of Baie d' Hudson. The Apostolic Baie d' Hudson prefecture on December 21, 1931 by Pius XI. with the Apostolic Constitution supremum officium elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate. On 13 July 1945, the Apostolic Vicariate of Baie d' Hudson were parts of its territory from establishing the Apostolic Vicariate Labrador.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Baie d' Hudson was born on July 13, 1967 by Pope Paul VI. raised to the bishopric and renamed diocese Churchill. On January 29, 1968, the diocese was renamed the Diocese of Churchill - Baie d' Hudson Churchill.
