The Archdiocese of Keewatin -Le Pas (Latin: Archidioecesis Kivotinus - Passitanus ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic archdiocese based in The Pas.

History

The Archdiocese of Keewatin -Le Pas was established on March 4, 1910 by Pope Pius X made ​​cessions of territory of the Diocese of Prince Albert as Apostolic Vicariate of Keewatin. The Apostolic Vicariate of Keewatin was on July 15, 1925 from parts of its territory establishing the Apostolic Prefecture of Hudson Bay. On 13 July 1967, the Apostolic Vicariate of Keewatin was by Pope Paul VI. raised to an archbishopric and renamed Archdiocese Keewatin -Le Pas.
