Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Regina
The Archdiocese of Regina (Latin: Archidioecesis Reginatensis ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Regina.
History
The Archdiocese of Regina was established on March 4, 1910 by Pope Pius X made cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Saint -Boniface as a Regina diocese. On December 4, 1915, the Diocese of Regina was by Pope Benedict XV. raised to an archbishopric. The Archdiocese of Regina announced on January 31, 1930 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Gravelbourg. On September 14, 1998, a part of the territory of the Diocese of Gravelbourg resolution was again affiliated with the Archdiocese of Regina.
