Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Gatineau
The Archdiocese of Gatineau (Latin: Archidioecesis Gatinensis ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic archdiocese headquartered in Gatineau.
History
The Archdiocese of Gatineau on April 27, 1963 Pope John XXIII. out of territory of the Archdiocese of Ottawa erected as a diocese Hull. It was the Archdiocese of Ottawa is a suffragan. On March 1, 1982, the diocese was renamed the Diocese of Hull Gatineau- Hull.
The Diocese of Gatineau -Hull was elevated by Pope John Paul II on 31 October 1990 Archdiocese. The Archdiocese of Gatineau -Hull was renamed on 28 October 2005 in Archdiocese of Gatineau.
