Roman Catholic Diocese of Dourados

The diocese Dourados (Latin: Dioecesis Auratopolitanus ) is a location in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Dourados in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.

History

The diocese Dourados was on June 15, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. built out of territory of the diocese Corumbá. It is the Archdiocese of Campo Grande is a suffragan. On 1 June 2011 the diocese Dourados were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Naviraí.
