Roman Catholic Diocese of Dundo

The diocese Dundo (Latin: Dioecesis Dundensis ) is a location in Angola Roman Catholic diocese based in Dundo. It includes the province of Lunda Norte.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Angoliae evangelizandae on November 9, 2001, cessions of territory of the diocese Saurimo and it became the Archdiocese of Luanda assumed as suffragan. On 12 April 2011, it was part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese Saurimo.
