Roman Catholic Diocese of Fenyang
The Diocese of Fenyang (Latin: Dioecesis Feniamensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Fenyang in the People's Republic of China.
History
Pope Pius XI. founded the Apostolic Vicariate of Fenyang with the Breve In omnes on May 12, 1926 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Taiyuanfu. The first apostolic vicar, Aloysius Chen Guo- di, OFM, was among the first six Chinese bishops. Pope Pius XI were consecrated on 28 October 1926 in Rome, as bishops.
With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese. Currently, the diocese manages a bishop of the Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association, John Cheng Huo.
