Roman Catholic Diocese of Gikongoro

The diocese of Gikongoro (Latin: Dioecesis Ghikongoroensis ) is a location in Rwanda Roman Catholic diocese based in Gikongoro.

History

The diocese of Gikongoro was erected on 30 March 1992 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Tantis quidem out of territory of the diocese of Butare and the archbishopric of Kigali is a suffragan.
