History
The Diocese of Hakha was established on November 21, 1992 by Pope John Paul II made cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Mandalay and this is a suffragan. First Bishop Nicholas Mang Thang was.
On May 22, 2010, the Diocese of Hakha were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Kalay.
