Roman Catholic Diocese of Incheon

The Diocese of Incheon (Latin: Dioecesis Inchonensis, kor. 천주교 인천 교구 ) is located in South Korea, Roman Catholic diocese based in Incheon.

History

The Diocese of Incheon was posted on June 6, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. with the Apostolic Constitution Coreanae Nationis orae built out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Seoul Incheon as Apostolic Vicariate. On March 10, 1962, the Apostolic Vicariate of Incheon was John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Fertile Gospel to the diocese and renamed Diocese of Incheon. It was the Archdiocese of Seoul, is a suffragan.
