Roman Catholic Diocese of Kalibo
The Diocese of Kalibo (Latin: Dioecesis Kalibensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Kalibo. It includes the province of Aklan.
History
Pope Paul VI. founded it on 17 January 1976 cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Capiz, which was applied simultaneously to the rank of Metropolitanerzbistums, which it was assumed as a suffragan.
