The Diocese of Lafia (Latin: Dioecesis Lafiensis ) is a location in Nigeria Roman Catholic diocese based in Lafia.

History

The Diocese of Lafia was by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution petitum nuper est out of territory of the Archdiocese of Jos and of the Diocese of Makurdi built on 5 December 2000 and the Archdiocese of Abuja is a suffragan. First bishop was Matthew Ishaya Audu.
