Roman Catholic Diocese of Lira

The Diocese of Lira (Latin Dioecesis Lirensis ) is located in Uganda Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.

History

The diocese based in Lira Lira in Uganda was formed on 12 July 1968. His bishop is the Comboni missionary Giuseppe Franzelli MCCJ. It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Gulu.
