Roman Catholic Diocese of Mahenge

The diocese Mahenge (Latin: Dioecesis Mahengensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic diocese based in Mahenge.

History

The diocese Mahenge was on April 21, 1964 Pope Paul VI. with the Apostolic Constitution Praeceptum illud built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam and this is a suffragan. On 14 January 2012, the diocese Mahenge were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Ifakara.
