Roman Catholic Diocese of Mbaïki

The diocese Mbaiki (Latin Dioecesis Mbaikiensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Mbaiki in the Central African Republic. It includes the Lobaye Prefecture.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Ad efficacius on 10 June 1995 from the Archdiocese of Bangui cessions of territory and was also subordinate to him as suffragan. Since the foundation is local Ordinary Guerrino Perin MCCJ.
