Roman Catholic Diocese of Miarinarivo

The diocese Miarinarivo (Latin: Dioecesis Miarinarivensis ) is a location in Madagascar Roman Catholic diocese based in Miarinarivo.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded the mission sui juris Miarinarivo on 13 December 1933. On 25 May 1939 she was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.

A part of its territory it lost on January 13, 1949 in favor of the establishment of the Apostolic Prefecture Tsiroanomandidy. With the Apostolic Constitution Dum Tantis it was on September 14, 1955 Diocese, which was the Archdiocese of Antananarivo is a suffragan levied.
