Roman Catholic Diocese of Mocoa–Sibundoy
The diocese Mocoa - Sibundoy (Latin: Dioecesis Mocoënsis - Sibundoyensis, Spanish: diócesis de Mocoa - Sibundoy ) is a location in Columbia Roman Catholic diocese based in Sibundoy.
History
The diocese Mocoa - Sibundoy was on February 8, 1951 Pope Pius XII. cessions of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate of Caquetá built as Apostolic Vicariate Sibundoy. On 29 October 1999 the Vicariate Apostolic Sibundoy was elevated by Pope John Paul II to the diocese and renamed diocese Mocoa - Sibundoy. It is assumed the archbishopric of Popayán suffragan.
