Roman Catholic Diocese of Mymensingh

The Diocese of Mymensingh (Latin: Dioecesis Mymensinghensis ) is a location in Bangladesh Roman Catholic diocese headquartered in Mymensingh. It includes the municipalities of Dhaka Division: Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Kishorganj, Netrokona, Sherpur and Tangail.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Ex quo supernova on May 15, 1987 cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Dhaka, where it was assumed as a suffragan.
