Roman Catholic Diocese of Nanlong

The Diocese of Anlong (Latin: Dioecesis Nganlomensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Anlong in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded with the Breve Quae catholico the Apostolic Prefecture Lanlung on February 16, 1922 from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Kuiceu and Canton. On April 27, 1927, the Prefecture was raised to the rank of Apostolic Vicariate.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese. In 1999, the Chinese government has the dioceses Anlong, Guiyang Guizhou and Shiqian united to the diocese located in the city of Guiyang.
