History

The diocese Naviraí was June 1, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Summi Nostri from cessions of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese Dourados Campo Grande is a suffragan. The diocese comprises 19 parishes Naviraí. First bishop was Ettore Dotti CSF.
