Roman Catholic Diocese of Ningyuan

The Diocese of Xichang (Latin: Dioecesis Nimiuenensis ) is a vacant for over 50 years Roman Catholic diocese based in Xichang in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius X founded the Apostolic Prefecture Siangyang with the Breve ex hac on August 12, 1910 made territorial concessions of the Apostolic Vicariate Südsichuan. On 3 December 1924, took the name, Apostolic Vicariate Ningyüanfu on.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese.
