Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chongqing
Located in China Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chongqing (Latin Archidioecesis Ciomchimensis ) was established on 2 April 1856 Apostolic Vicariate Se - Ciuen and changed its name on December 3, 1924 at Chung King.
Collected on 11 April 1946 Archdiocese counted the 350,000 km ² Diocese 1950 37 608 Catholics (0.3%) in 42 parishes with 42 diocesan priests, six monks and 114 nuns.
The Archbishop is the Metropolitan dioceses Chengdu, Kangding, Kiating, Xichang, Nanchong, Yibin, Wanzhou.
