Roman Catholic Diocese of Kangding

The Diocese of Kangding (Latin: Dioecesis Camtimensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Kangding in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Gregory XVI. founded with the Breve ex debito the Apostolic Vicariate of Lhasa on March 2, 1844 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Sichuan. Evangelization was entrusted to the Paris Mission. On 28 July 1868, adopted the name, Apostolic Vicariate of Tibet, and on December 3, 1924 the name Apostolic Vicariate Tatsienlu on.

On February 15, 1929, lost part of its territory in favor of the establishment of the mission sui juris Sikkim. With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese.
