Roman Catholic Diocese of Nouakchott

The Diocese of Nouakchott (Latin: Dioecesis Nuakchottensis ) is a location in Mauritania Roman Catholic diocese and the only diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Mauritania, based in Nouakchott. It has been separated and became independent on December 18, 1965 from the Apostolic Prefecture of Saint- Louis du Sénégal.
