Roman Catholic Diocese of Queenstown
The Diocese of Queenstown (Latin: Dioecesis Civitatis Reginae seu Queenstovensis ) is a location in South Africa, Roman Catholic diocese based in Queenstown.
History
The diocese was founded on March 29, 1938 annexations of Mission " Sui Iuris " of Queenstown as Apostolic Prefecture. On April 9, 1948, the survey was conducted with the Apostolic Vicariate. On January 11, 1951, the present diocese of Queenstown was founded and placed under as a suffragan to the Archdiocese of Cape Town.
