Roman Catholic Diocese of Santa Clara

The Diocese of Santa Clara (Latin: Sanctae Dioecesis Clarae ) is located in Cuba Roman Catholic diocese based in Santa Clara.

History

Pope John Paul II founded the diocese on 1 April 1995 by the division of the Diocese of Cienfuegos Santa Clara; It was a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba.

On 5 December 1998, it was part of the ecclesiastical province of Camagüey.
