History

The Diocese of Santa Rosa was born on February 11, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Papal Bull Quandoquidem adoranda out of territory of the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca and of the Diocese of Mercedes. It was the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca is a suffragan.
