Roman Catholic Diocese of Sikasso

The Diocese of Sikasso (Latin: Dioecesis Sikassensis ) is located in Mali Roman Catholic diocese based in Sikasso.

History

The Diocese of Sikasso was posted on June 12, 1947 by Pope Pius XII. In Dominicis agris of annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Bobo-Dioulasso built with the Apostolic Constitution as Apostolic Prefecture of Sikasso. On July 6, 1963, the Apostolic Prefecture of Sikasso was by Pope Paul VI. applicable to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Bamako is a suffragan.
