Roman Catholic Diocese of Uruguaiana
The diocese Uruguaiana (Latin: Dioecesis Uruguaianensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in the Brazilian Uruguaiana in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
The diocese was founded on August 15, 1910 by Pope Pius X from the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre out. 1960 establishing areas of the diocese Bagé and 1961 establishing the bishopric of Santo Ângelo was ceded.
It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Santa Maria.
