Roman Catholic Diocese of Yagoua
The diocese Yagoua (Latin: Dioecesis Yaguanus ) is a location in Cameroon Roman Catholic diocese based in Yagoua.
History
The diocese Yagoua was on March 11, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. out of territory of the Diocese of Garoua built as Apostolic Prefecture Yagoua. On January 29, 1973, the Apostolic Prefecture Yagoua was Paul VI. applicable to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Yaoundé is a suffragan. The diocese Yagoua was placed under the Archbishopric of Garoua suffragan on 18 March 1982.
