Roman Sabiński

Roman Zdzisław Jerzy Sabiński ( born December 28, 1908 in Lemberg, Austria - Hungary, † June 28, 1978 in Manchester, United Kingdom) was a Polish ice hockey player.

Career

Roman Sabiński worked as a police officer and later an accountant. As a hockey player, he went on in his hometown for Pogoń Lwów. With the team he won the Polish championship in the season 1932/33.

Internationally

For the Polish national ice hockey team Sabiński participated among others in the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid. He had previously won with Poland at the European Championship 1929 silver medal. Overall, he played 35 international matches for his country.
