Roman Týce ( born May 7, 1977 in Roudnice nad Labem ) is a former Czech football player and current coach. His position as a player was the defensive midfield.

Career

Roman Týce grew up in Černiv and moved at age 13 to juniors by Sparta Praha. In the first Czech league, he then sat down by Slovan Liberec and moved to TSV 1860 Munich, where he became a regular player in 1998. In May 2005, he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. Nevertheless, he extended his contract until mid-2006. On 19 March 2006, he suffered another torn ACL. In the summer of 2006, the "Lion " extended his contract by a year with club option for another year. He was then but no longer used. For the season 2007/ 08 he moved to third division SpVgg Unterhaching, in which he qualified for the newly created 3rd league. In the 2008 /09 season he scored four goals this season with 26 inserts, the following season came Týce injury only 18 inserts ( one goal).

At the end of the 2010/11 season Týce ended his active career. During the season, he completed a coaching course at the Sports Hennef and reached the A- license on 10 May 2011 as a football coach. For the 2011/12 season, he took over as coach the B- youth of the game Unterhaching, as well as co-trainer - post at the side of the new Hachinger chief coach Heiko Herrlich.

In October 2012 Tyce founded together with his friend Paul Agostino, whom he knows from his time at TSV 1860 München, the munich soccer school soccer camp.
