Romana Jordan Cizelj

Romana Jordan ( born January 8, 1966 in Celje) is a Slovenian politician ( Slovenska Demokratska stranka ).

Jordan is a graduate engineer in electrical engineering, master's degree in nuclear engineering and a doctorate in the Department of Nuclear Engineering. She worked as a researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute.

Jordan was 1998-2002 chairman of the municipal supervisory body of the municipality Domžale and a member of the local council thereafter until 2004. Since 2004 she is a member of the European Parliament.

In addition, Jordan is a member of the board and secretary of the Forum for University and Science, Member of the Management Board and Deputy Chairman of the NATO Slovenian Society and President of the Nuclear Society of Slovenia.
