Rome (Band)

Rome is a Luxembourg tape, which was reinforced in late 2005 by Jérôme Reuter, former singer and drummer for the apolitical skinhead band The Skinflicks, founded in early 2008 by the previous co -produced by Patrick Damiani as a permanent member. The band has been extended to the violinist Nikos Mavridis 2009.

History

Rome graduated in 2006 a contract with the Swedish label Cold Meat Industry and released the EP Berlin (June 2006) and the albums Nera (November 2006), Confessions d' Un Voleur d' Ames ( April 2007) and Masse Mensch Material (March 2008). The band came in 2009 with the German record company Trisol under contract and then released the single To Die Among Strangers (May 2009) and the album Flowers from Exile (June 2009). In 2010, both the single and the album L' Assassin Nos Chants Perdus appeared.

Music

In its early Rome mixed influences from post-industrial and folk noir with experimental and electronic pop. The traditions of French chanson and American folk Noir are increasingly influencing her current work. Rome themselves describe their style as " Chanson Noir".
