Romsø

Romsø is a since the late 1990s, uninhabited island in the Danish Great Belt off the east coast Funen ( Eng.: Funen ) at the northern entrance to Kerteminde bay. The 108 acre island is part of the parish community (Danish: Sogn ) Viby ( Viby Sogn ), which belonged to the Office Harde Bjerge Herred in the former Odense until 1970. Then it belonged to Kerteminde municipality in the former County of Funen, the Syddanmark has risen with the municipal reform on 1 January 2007 in the "new " Kerteminde municipality in the region. From 1869 to 1973 lighthouse on the island of sailors led the way into the bay.
