Ron Galella

Ron Galella ( born 1931 in the Bronx ) is a paparazzo mitschuf tabloids and raised to an art form.

Galella was born to Italian immigrants. His father was a carpenter. He began his career as a photographer in the Air Force. By his early twenties, he moved to Los Angeles and was trained as a photojournalist. In his spare time he photographed on film premieres the arriving stars and starlets and sold the pictures to the National Enquirer or Photo Play.

His most famous photo, the image of the " windblown Jackie ," Galella shot out of a moving taxi: On the black-and- white photo can be seen in her hair reminds you of Jackie Kennedy's face the recognition of an incipient smile. This moment rated Ron Galella in humans generally considered the most magical at all. Therefore, the paparazzo referred to this photo as his Mona Lisa.

From him, inter alia Photos of Audrey Hepburn, Robert Redford, Madonna, Muhammad Ali, Ali MacGraw, Richard Burton, Sean Penn and Aristotle Onassis were published. From Marlon Brando Ron Galella got smashed the lower incisors in June 1973 by a punch and broke his jaw, as the actors on the street do not want to be photographed without sunglasses.
