Ron Orp's Mail

The publisher Ron Orp publishes the works published daily newsletter Ron Orps mail, which was originally designed for the city of Zurich. In addition to news about the cultural, gastronomic and nightlife offerings of the city contains the newsletter also music, media, reading, and TV Reviews. Development

2004: The first issue of Ron Orp 's Mail has been sent to 100 subscribers in Zurich on 29 April 2004. Within nine months the number of subscribers increased to 1,000.

2005 - 2006: The number of subscribers reached 13,500 in December 2006. The content for the newsletter has been prepared free of charge during this period of only three people.

2007: The website and the newsletter undergoing a redesign. New addition to the newsletter Zurich appears in the following cities: Basel, Bern, Lucerne, Winterthur and Vienna. The number of subscribers reached 25,000 in December 2007.

2008: The number of subscribers continues to rise and reached 41,000 in December 2008. About 20 people are working daily in the various cities for Ron Orp 's Mail. Ron Orp 's Mail appears new in New York City, Berlin, Munich and St. Gallen. In Zurich, a weekly English edition, was also launched.

2009: The website and newsletter undergoing a further redesign. The number of subscribers reached in December 2009, a new high: 63,000.

2010: Ron Orp continues to expand and now also appears in the West Switzerland (Geneva), in Brazil (Brasilia ) and the UK ( London). Ron Orp Zurich launched a digital magazine for the city with the title: Ron Orp's magazine and an iPhone app. In December ronorp.net receives the award Digital Marketer of the Year awarded by the IAB Switzerland. Status of all subscribers in December, 2010: 100,000.

2011: Ron Orp launched in another edition ( Lausanne). Status of all subscribers in December, 2011: 150,000.

2012: Ron Orp launched in early February, the bilingual ( German / French) crowdfunding portal 100 Days.net. Status of all subscribers in December, 2012: 186,000.
