Ronan of Locronan

Ronan of Locronan also Renan, Latin. - Celtic: the regenerate, (* in Ireland around 600, † at Hillion ) is a Catholic saint. He was a hermit and missionary bishop in Brittany. His grave is located in the Church in Locronan.

According to tradition he was a pupil of Senan, whom he had accompanied to Brittany. About 990 were probably relics in the abbey of Tavistock in Devonshire. About his life, there are some legends.
