Rong County, Sichuan

Rong (Chinese荣县, Pinyin Xian Rong ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Zigong in Sichuan Province, China. It has an area of 1609 km ² and has 690,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Xuyang (旭阳 镇).

The Giant Buddha in a circle Rong ( Rong xian Dafo Shiku荣县 大佛 石窟) and the former residence of Wu Yuzhang ( Wu Yuzhang guju吴玉章 故居) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (Sichuan ) since 2006.
