Rosa Valetti

Pink Valetti (actually pink Vallentin, born January 25, 1876 in Berlin, † December 10, 1937 in Vienna) was a German actress, comedienne and chansonniere.

Biography

She was the daughter of the timber merchant and factory owner Felix Vallentin and sister of actor Hermann Vallentin. Pink Valetti gained her first experience at the Berlin suburb stages before - animated by the November Revolution and the encounter with Kurt Tucholsky - went to the cabaret. In 1920, she founded the Cabaret " megalomania " in the café megalomania, which became one of the most important, literary and politically most ambitious cabaret in Berlin in the 1920s. In 1928 she played the role of Mrs. Peachum in the world premiere of The Threepenny Opera.

From 1911 Pink Valetti also received movie roles.
