Rosario Green

María del Rosario Green Macías Gloria ( born March 31, 1941 in Mexico City) is a Mexican politician.

Biography

Rosario Green studied Economics and International Affairs, and was in 1968 at the Colegio de Mexico operates. From 1982, she worked for the World Bank, from 1986 she was Director of the Commission on the Future of Mexican- American relations since 1990 Executive Director of the UN Human Rights Commission. As of April 1992, she was Secretary of State at the Foreign Office, 1998-2000 Foreign Minister.

Since 2005 she has been Secretary General of the Partido Revolucionario Institucional. In 2006 she was elected to the Senate.
