Rosy Afsari

Rosy Afsari ( Bengali: ? রোজি সামাদ Roji Samad; * 1946/47; † 9 March 2007 in Dhaka ) was a Bangladeshi actress. She starred in about 200 films.

Afsari began her acting career under the name Rosy Samad in 1964 with the film Eito Jibon. She played a major role in Zahir Raihans movie Sangam (1964 ), the first color film of Pakistan.

Your most important films were Surjo Sangram (1979 ) Abdus Samad of, Golapi Ekhon Trainey (1979 ) by Amjad Hossain, Jibon thekey Neya (1970 ) by Zahir Raihan and Ritwik Ghataks Ekti Nadir Naam Titash (1973). They also produced some films and directed.

Rosy Afsari received several Bangladeshi National Film Awards. She was married to the film director Malek Afsari and had two children. She died at the age of 60 in a hospital in Dhaka to kidney failure.
