Rotbach (Dreisam)

Called The Rotbach in Hell Valley, also Höllenbach

The Rotbach ( in the upper reaches Zartenbach and Spooning Albach, called in the middle reaches Höllenbach ) is the 19.9 km long, left or southern source river of Dreisamstadion in the Black Forest (Baden- Württemberg, Germany ).

Zartenbach

The headwaters of the Zartenbach mentioned headwaters begin in the municipality of Hinterzarten ( Black Forest Nature Park ) southwest of the hamlet of Upper Hinterzarten in the eastern slopes of the Ramselehöhe ( 1111.9 m) to about 1085 meters. They gather at the base of a shaped by ice age glaciers Muldental stepped longitudinal profile. In one of the Verebnungen the stream is dammed in Mathislesweiher ( 999 m above sea level. NN ). Then it flows into a wide left arc around the Windeck ( 1209 m) and flows over the top and Hinterzarten northward into the vast well of flat Hinterzarten Moores ( a nature reserve).

Spooning Albach

After him from the west of the outflow of the Western Moor part is fed flows, the creek deepened with severely elevated slope into a V-shaped valley, which is named after the plants used to reside here for the production of wooden spoons Löffeltal. Höllenbach
