The Rötelbach is a right tributary of the Jagst in northern Baden- Württemberg, and nearly 10 km long.

Course

The Rötelbach rises about 400 m northeast of the castle and hamlet Ludwig rest on the boundary of Langenburg on the Streitwiesen and is already straightened from the source. First, the stream flows to the north, past the armed fountains, crosses under the L 1036 Langenburg - Blaufelden runs beyond a short distance verdolt and then again as an open, field accompanying digging through the district Brühlsee where at least two points are preserved remnants of dams. He then occurs between the forest Won Baierwald left and right sticks of wood into a larger forest area one, which he now pervades in natural running. Right at the beginning, he then changes over to the district of Blaufelden - Billingsbach and then developed instead of his trough a Taltrog. Here he takes on against the Dachsbühl from right to Weilersbach, which rises in the deserted village of Hausen Lampert. Beneath the ruins of Castle Hertenstein flows the Rötelbach from right at the Hertensteiner mill Billingsbach to, then he pulls through his turn, wooded valley to the west, changes to the Eberbacher boundaries of the municipality Mulfingen and then takes in quick succession right to Mittelbach and the sun Bach on. Then it flows gehölzbegleitet in a Wiesenaue further increases - turn right - the brook by the Taubenhofklinge, turns to his last good run kilometers to the southwest, crosses Eberbach and then there opens from the right in the Jagst. The river flows almost entirely through uninhabited and forestry or agricultural area.
