Rötger Feldmann

Rötger Werner Friedrich Wilhelm Feldmann aka crumbs ( born March 17, 1950 in Lübeck- Travemünde ) is one of the most successful German comic artist.

Life

Feldmann lithographer completed an apprenticeship with the company Nord Repro in Flensburg. After completing his apprenticeship, he was drafted into military service and became ill there of tuberculosis. In 1971 he got a job as a lithographer at the company hostage in Flensburg. Because of his passion to constantly draw cartoons and comics - especially those in which he caricatured his superiors - the employment relationship, however, was terminated in 1972. In the seventies, the unemployed crumbs drew mainly a series of comics about the " Bakuninis " an anarcho- family, with whom he caricatured the radical Left of the time. In the autonomous scene of the eighties they had cult status.

His first comic drawings around the figure Werner published in 1978 in the satirical magazine Pardon and in a Kiel city newspaper. The constant clashes with TUV and police gave him for his Horex conversions and probably also the contact with the chopper community much material for new stories. Brother Andi Feldmann

Public appearances and PR
