Rotring

Rotring (proper spelling rotring ) is a brand name of the U.S. company Sanford Corporation that is used for drawing materials of all kinds. Sanford, in turn, is a subsidiary of Newell Rubbermaid.

Originally part of the brand name " rotring " the rotring plants Riepe KG in Hamburg, which was sold to Sanford or Newell Rubbermaid in 1998 and therefore now called Sanford GmbH.

For technical drawing there Rotring writing instruments ( mechanical pencils, ink pen [ Isograph, Rapidograph ], drawing boards, formerly lettering stencils, ink pens ) and compass cutlery.

The Rotring 600 series and later Rotring 600 Newton of solid brass are also after production has still looking for writing instruments.
