Topography

The creek originates in around 247 meters above sea level in a densely built area, near the youth traffic training area at the memorial grove road, south of the city of Wuppertal part Vohwinkel. It first flows in a northerly direction and about 55 meters to its source, he passes under the federal motorway 46 (A 46). After crossing under it flows for about 250 meters further back above ground.

Next crosses under the river the road west ring to pass under then piped the grounds of Vohwinkler lido. The creek now reached the densely built-up area of the district, where he still partly runs above ground. It follows the Rottscheidter road that runs in a northeasterly direction, and then follows the piped Gustav road in a northwesterly direction at the Church of Saint Immaculate Conception over.

The Gustavstraße is now reaching to the emperor Square and the Rottscheider stream runs underground here, now in a northeasterly direction under the entire course of the Imperial Road. About 100 yards from the mouth of the river Wupper, the creek still gets from the right inlet from the stack Berger Bach. Then opens the Rottscheider creek, near the monorail station Hammerstein, in around 138 meters into the Wupper, at the point where the river swings to the south.
